BOYS OF THE BAND (friends call BOB) is a new band with 20 years of history behind it.
BOB's songwriters Kimmo and Pekka met in 1989 in Pekka's hometown Raahe. They started
their collaboration in the legendary band Nova Scotia, which operated mainly in the northern Finland
between 1989 and 1992. After many years and several other projects they formed a coverband named
Mr C, which was later joined by bassist Janne and drummer Teijo. Mr C has hosted many popular clubs
in Helsinki and featured many finnish top artists as guests. The band's motto has been "Play the best songs
in the world as they were our own!" That concept has kept the band busy throughout the years.
After over a thousand gigs they're still kicking!

BOB was born around the same idea but this time with original material. All the years playing together have made
the band click easily also live and the shows so far have been a great success!

The members of the band are known to public from several other engagements. The list of bands and projects features acts
like Urban Tale, Sunrise Avenue, Killer, Apocalyptica, Heartplay, Stratovarius, Thunderstone, Leverage and finnish Idols-winners
Ari Koivunen and Koop Arponen. As co-writers to various artists they've also gained success during the past years.

To sum it up: BOB is full of energy and good time! That's what rock'n'roll is about at it's best!
